October 24th – The 152nd Annual Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Albany on Saturday the 24th was different this year. Instead of in-person at Camp of the Woods, it was held via ZOOM from 9AM-3PM. St. George’s participated via a large screen in the church. In attendance were: Fr. Matt Stromberg, primary delegates Anne and David Kennison, and alternate delegate Bob Paska.

Sunday, October 3rd – St. George’s was the site of the Annual Pet Blessing on the feast of St. Francis of Assisi at 2 o’clock on the front lawn of the church. Attendees included the following dogs: a Beagle, Akita, Papillon, Golden Doodle, Cavalier Spaniel, Cairn Terrier, and a cat named Sable. Pet owners and observers also participated in the meaningful service by Fr. Matthew Stromberg. Dr. Brian Taylor led the humans in hymns. Following the ceremony, Fr. Matt also blessed the newly installed Pet Waste Station in front of Cranmer Hall.
